Washing instructions and care

Our jeans are made from carefully selected fabrics that have been tested for both colour fastness and durability, but proper care is essential to how long they last.

In this guide, you’ll find clear advice on how to wash and care for your Perfect Jeans so they retain their fit, colour and stretch over time. Use this guide as your reference to get the most out of your jeans, wash after wash.

Washing your Perfect Jeans

Wash inside out: When washing your Perfect Jeans, it’s important to turn them inside out. This helps protect the colour and structure of the fabric. Washing them the right way out can cause friction, leading to wear and colour loss.

Wash at max. 30 degrees: To protect the colour and elasticity of your Perfect Jeans, we recommend washing them at a maximum of 30 degrees.

Use a sufficiently filled washing machine: Make sure the washing machine is properly filled. If it’s too empty, friction can occur and cause wear. If you’re only washing a few pairs, add towels or other soft textiles.

Do not use fabric softener: Fabric softener can damage the fibres and lead to loss of colour and elasticity. We therefore recommend avoiding fabric softener when washing your jeans.

Do not use detergent containing bleach: Detergents with bleach can damage the colour and structure of your Perfect Jeans. Choose a mild, liquid detergent for coloured laundry, preferably fragrance-free. We have good experience with REMA 1000 liquid fragrance-free colour detergent.

Drying

Air dry: After washing, we recommend air drying your Perfect Jeans. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as this can cause shrinkage and damage the fibres. Hang them on a hanger or drying rack and let them dry at room temperature.

Heat treatment

Do not iron: Perfect Jeans are made from materials that can be damaged by high temperatures. We therefore recommend avoiding ironing to maintain their durability.
